PRACTICE AREAS
Family Law

Sarah is a second-generation family law attorney and a devoted advocate for her clients. After graduating from law school, Sarah opened her own practice focusing exclusively on family law. Sarah joined the family law section of Schlanger Silver in 2018.

As a family law attorney, Sarah aims to provide a personalized approach in helping clients navigate the often emotional and complex issues that arise in family law cases with compassion as well as expertise. She makes every effort to familiarize herself with the goals of each client striving to help clients resolve their disputes while taking into consideration concerns that may arise in a case, including cost efficiency, reducing the emotional distress of divorce on the parties, the need for privacy, and most importantly the effects of protracted litigation on children.

Sarah’s experience in family law cases includes divorce, custody disputes, enforcement and modification proceedings, adoptions, and pre and post-marital agreements. She also has experience serving as an amicus attorney appointed by courts to represent the best interest of children.

In addition, Sarah brings with her the unique expertise in handling family law appellate matters. Sarah has extensive experience in each stage of a family case, including consulting, briefing, and arguing a number of dispositive motions and post-trial proceedings including appeals and original proceedings in the Supreme Court of Texas and Texas Courts of Appeals.
