PRACTICE AREAS
Family Law

Jennifer first became interested in family law during her law school internships at Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse and the Texas Council for Family Violence. She was inspired by her work and felt that she was making a difference in people’s lives while serving to protect those in need. Jennifer will tell you that her favorite part of being a family law attorney is helping her clients get through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

After spending five years practicing family law in Austin, Jennifer returned to her hometown of Houston and joined Schlanger Silver in 2015. Jennifer has handled many complex family law matters and her approach is to resolve cases using the best strategies possible. Jennifer has significant experience negotiating, mediating, and, if needed, taking her cases to trial. Jennifer’s clients describe her as passionate about helping her clients, a dedicated attorney, pleasant to work with, tough when she needs to be, and well versed in the nuances of family law and the family courts.

Jennifer handles a variety of family law matters including divorces, suits affecting parent child relationships, modifications, enforcements, and protective orders.
